Advances in Atmospheric Sciences will award papers for their exceptional contribution to the development of the journal. Four papers published in 2012 are selected based on their downloads from SpringerLink and ISI citations. These four papers are:

The Impact Factor of Advances in Atmospheric Sciences (AAS), hosted by Institute of Atmospheric Sciences, has increased to 1.459 according to the latest ISI Journal Citation Report, higher than what it was in 2012, 1.338. AAS still remains the leading position among all the meteorological journals based in Asia. The latest impact factor reported for the journal is indicative of the journal’s continuing and healthy growth in a rapidly expanding community and holds great promise for the years to come.
