Dr. Jingjia Luo is a senior scientist currently working at Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research (CAWCR), Bureau of Meteorology, Australia. His research interest includes climate variability and change, ocean-atmosphere interactions, climate model development, climate prediction and application, and paleo-climate. He received Master at Nanjing Institute of Meteorology in June 1996 (Meteorology) and PhD at Tokyo University in March 2001 (physical Oceanography). He worked as Post-doc and senior scientist during April 2001-Oct 2011 at Frontier Research Center for Global Change, JAMSTEC, Japan.
