Laura L. Pan is a renowned Senior Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). Her groundbreaking research has significantly advanced our understanding of atmospheric chemistry, particularly in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere. Pan has conducted extensive research on the tropopause, the boundary between the Earth's troposphere (the lowest layer of the atmosphere) and the stratosphere. Her studies have provided valuable insights into the physical and chemical processes occurring in this critical region.
