Worshop on Climate Change & Global Water Cycle, 23-27 Nov, Beijing, China

UK/China science workshop on “Climate Change & Global Water Cycle” was held at Institute of Atmospheric Physics , Chinese Academy of Sciences, 23-27 Nov, Beijing, China . The workshop is co-organized by the Research Councils UK (RCUK), the Monsoon Asia Integrated Regional Study (MAIRS), and the EU funded integrated project Water and Global Change (WATCH) with an aim to enhance collaborations between Chinese and European scientists on climate change and water cycles.

Over 60 Scientists from Europe and China involved in this workshop and topics on the following 4 areas were discussed in 3 day meeting: Present and Future Water and Land Use, Climate and Hydrological Cycle, Regional Trends: Floods and Droughts, Implications to Water Resources and Agriculture.
