The 8th LASG/IAP & College of Atmospheric Sciences/ Nanjing University Joint Workshop on Climate System Model Development and Numerical Modeling was held from 27-29 April, 2010 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. More than 60 scientists and graduate students from IAP, Nanjing University ,  PLA University of Science and Technology, National Climate Center, Nanjing University of Information, Science and Technology and Beijing Normal University attended the workshop.  The workshop focuses on global and regional climate system model and provides young modellers and students with platforms to present, discuss and promote the newest progress.
