The 10th NIMR-IAP (National Institute of Meteorological Research and Institute of Atmospheric Physics) Joint Research Workshop was held in Korea, on Oct.27-31, 2010. It is the tenth anniversary of Sino-Korea joint workshop and more than 50 scientists joined the meeting.

In the meeting, Ms. Kwon Won-Tae, director of NIMR first gave a speech on “NIMR Recent Research Status”, and Pro. Lu Riyu made a speech on “IAP’s History and Current Status”. All the Korean and Chinese scientists actively got involved in communication and discussion in the field of climate change, Atmospheric Observation and Asian Dust, etc. With the long time successful experience of Sino-Korea joint workshop, both sides also made a further discussion about future research cooperation and development plan. The next NIMR-IAP Joint Research Workshop will be held in China 2012.
