2012 AAS Impact Factor increased to 1.338

The freshly released 2012 SCI Journal Citation Report shows that 2012 Impact Factor of Advances in Atmospheric Sciences (AAS), co-sponsored by IAP and CNC-IAMAS, is 1.338 (figure 1). It’s a solid progress compared with its Impact Factor 0.987 in 2011. Meanwhile, among 74 international journals on meteorology and atmospheric sciences, the ranking of AAS is 48 and in the 3rd quartile (figure 2), upgraded from No. 54 in the 4th quartile in 2011. AAS ranks No. 1 among atmospheric journals in Asia.
