AAS publishes a paper with animation

For the first time, Advances in Atmospheric Sciences (AAS), an international journal (SCI Impact Factor: 1.338) hosted by IAP, publishes a paper with animation. A video of global warming simulated by IAP/LASG FGOALS was incorporated into the html version of the paper "Historical Evolution of Global and Regional Surface Air Temperature Simulated by FGOALS-s2 and FGOALS-g2: How Reliable Are the Model Results?" at . Comments about the presentation and the paper are welcome! Please send your comments to aas@mail.iap.ac.cn or to the authors.

AAS accepts submission with animation. Authors can submit it as supplementary materials via ScholarOne if the video is less than 10 M. The format flv. (or mpeg, avi, etc.) is desired. If the video is more than 10 M, authors are suggested providing a URL of the vedio for the convenience of the reviewers. The original video can be sent to the Editorial Office upon acceptance of the paper.
