IAP Collaborates with Sri Lanka on Meteorological Research

With the support of the China–Sri Lanka Joint Center for Education and Research, a research team from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, has engaged in collaborative efforts with institutions including the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, the Department of Meteorology, and the University of Ruhuna. They have focused on various topics such as water vapor transport, extreme precipitation, and disaster reduction and mitigation in Sri Lanka and its surrounding areas. IAP's visit from March 20th to 30th to these institutions has achieved fruitful progress.
